Need help with powering seat with external power source

Hello,

I have a spare 02 TL-S passenger seat, I'd like to "jump" the seat to slide/recline with external power source (a 12v battery). I couldn't figure out which pins on the big grey connector requires power to do that, or if it even possible at all. I searched and found some wiring diagrams but it seems a lot of pins need to connect to fuse. Any experts can chime in?

Thanks!

just a tip when working on the seat IN car: unplugging any SRS connectors for seats with battery plugged in will result in a false SRS light and code- it can be cleared diy- see our diy section

there is a link for the acura service manual with the wiring diagram you need

are you trying to fix or modify the seat?

I am pretty sure: The SEAT itself contains a side curtain airbag
Be very very careful- we are not hunting Emergency Rooms!!!

Thanks for the tip. The seat is a spare not in car.

I finally figured it out. There are two pins with +12v on mail connector for each motor, and ground wire is right next to them.

the tip was more for others,,, and for you if you install this seat
Remove batt neg cable and then do the remove/install- or be prepared for the paper clip reset procedure of the srs
