this morning I noticed a chip on my hood.. = (

I just finished my second coat of Zaino too...all that work and now i have a freakin chip... pissssssssed...i think it was from following behind a truck on the highway.

is it just me?..but it seems like the paint is really really really thin... anyways...does anybody know if there's a touch up paint for our car..BTW I have a SSM...


I don't really wanna and can't afford to re paint the whole hood, just for this little chip...but it seems like the surrounding area of that chip is going to peel off if i leave it alone....

yes, dealership will have touch up paint.

 

Ya, I've been using the dealership touch up paint for a couple of months now. I've owned a few cars in my lifetime and I gotta admit, the paint quality for this car is definitely below average in my book. I already had to touch up at least 4 spots on the hood. One spot is actually starting to rust already! This morning, I just found another by the driver door right below the window. Just goes to show how weak our paint is. That chip by the door isn't even on the front of the car where it can potentially take a direct hit from pebbles. It was probably a glancing blow, yet a chip still occurred.
