need help with interior!!!

I just bought a 2003 tl-s about two months ago and now the center console is screwed up. The top section of it keeps poping up while i'm driving. Every little bump in the road makes it pop up( anyone in virginia beach knows what i mean by EVERY bump) It's really getting quite frustrating and damn near caused me to wreck my car the other day. Has anyone else experienced anything like this and could tell me how to fix it. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated...

Open it up and tighten the screws under the lid.

Thats it just loose screws? it seems like the clip doesn't want to clip so i figured i would have to buy the whole lid or something...

its not the screws, the plastic teeth that hooks on the bottom part is basically grinded off from too much use, or prev owner didnt full detach and open...i had to buy a new one...

be4 i would usually bend it forward for a temp thing, but kept popping open
