Angry Need Help With Fog Light Assembly!

Hey guys. I really need your help. I bought some PIAA Xtreme White Plus 9006 bulbs ($66) for my 2003 TL foglight and the damn socket design on the PIAAs are somewhat different than the stock Stanley and my old Sylvania SilverStar bulb which they fit perfectly. When I installed the PIAAs, the driver's side went in without a problem. The passenger side was a pain in the butt. I was unable to twist the bulb into the foglamp assembly so I sorta twisted it hard (basically forced it in there). Now that it is in there, I wondered if it will be easy to take out once the bulb burns out since PIAAs are known for burning out in half a year. I twisted the bulb and tried to pull it out and the bulb won't come out anymore. My last resort now is to go to the dealer and have them try to take the bulb out when the bulb burns out. Watch they say in their minds, "Look at that idiot changing his fog lights with some HID wannabe bulbs thinking he is all that and now his HID wannabe bulbs are stuck." Do you think this is covered by warranty? Can I say the bulb is stuck because of the defective foglight assembly? Anyhow, I was thinking about just buying another fog light assembly to avoid being laughed at. This site carries the passenger side (right) for $180+. Then at this other site, they are selling it for only $40 and they say they sell OEM Acura parts. Here is the other site... http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.org/...gry5=FOG+LIGHT
Why is it so much cheaper at the other site and so much more expensive here? By the way, for some of you that are wondering the difference between the SilverStars and the Xtreme White Plus, it seems that the PIAAs are a bit brighter, but they both are just as white. Thanks guys!

Don't buy a new housing, you have to push in and turn. If that doesn't work, the next thing you can do is unscrew the 3 round screws that serve as anchors (check out the pic - ignore all the silicone and other stuff I have on my housing I was modding it) http://www.acurainspired.com/gallery...albuo33&id=aai

The next thing is take a pic and post it up, or e-mail it to me at alex@acurainspired.com so I have a better view.

Last resort: find someone on this board that lives near you and drive to them with the housing and see if they can help.

Thanks Alexxx. But does anybody know why the fog light assembly is so much cheaper at the other site than at this site? Notice that the list prices are different too. At this site, it's well over $200+ while at the other site, it's only a mere $50. Why is that? At least it wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to replace the fog light assembly if the lens crack due to rock chips on the highway. Anyone?

I don't know why they are so much cheaper but I'm going to
find out. I just replaced the drivers side after a rock hit it just
to have the same thing happen to the passager side a week
later OUCH. And at the cost of $180.00 each that hurts.

Well let you know

than dealer
