I'm new to this website I need some advice I changed my radiator and thermostat it has no leaks but it runs threw the coolant in about a week or less not sure why

So you have no external coolant leaks but the coolant level keeps going down? We need some more info.

1. Why did you change the radiator and tstat in the first place?
2. did you burp the coolant system after installing the new radiator?
3. has the engine oil level changed at all and is the oil milky at all?
4. is there any smoke coming from the exhaust?
5. how much coolant did you put in after the radiator change and how much have you added since then?

 

Old radiator was cracked
oil level is good not milky
if smoke is coming out can barley see it
i didn't know I had to burp the cooling system(how would I do that?)
i added 1 1/2 gallons and refilled it twice with a gallon still have less than a quarter left
