Angry Need help

today i was gonna change my ignition switch because the car would die on me sometimes when im driving. so when i pulled the interior off a 01 tl i also pulled the ignition switch from it. when i first bought my car i guess it has a alarm hooked up to it but i guess the old owner toke the box out and left the wires still in the car. so when i was removing my old ignition switch there was some wires hooked up to it from the alarm harness. i pulled the alarm harness out and i tried putting my new ignition switch in. i turn the key and nothing happens. so i was like what the hell. so i tried to put my old ignition switch back in but still nothing happens when i turn the key. im guessing it has something to do with the alarm harness wire. but now that i pulled that harness out i dont know which wire goes where. now i cant start my car or anything. someone please help i got school and work. please

Its a little hard for us to say either as we dont know what wires you pulled off and where they go.

Sounds like you need to invest in a shop manual w/ schematics in this case. When you swap ign. switches is it just a matter of unplugging/reconnecting connectors, or are you cutting & splicing?

you probably pulled the kill switch, go online and try to find the alarm that it had and look at the schematics on it and see which wire it is and what color it is, and maybe try putting it where its supposed to go, or splice it into another wire that might help with it, i dont know if thats the problem, but just taking a guess
