with every other car I have had I dont care about cutting the hell out of everything in site.. however with the TL and the fact that I want to maintain the resale value I am trying to be nice............ We shall see how that will last.
WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH.. you don't need to butcher your sunglass holder to install that, come on guys, this is an expensive luxury car, don't start cutting anything until you are sure you can
(A) cover it up so the next buyer doesn't know (realistically you will sell this car, not drive it to the ground)
or
(B) make the cuts in a position where the future owner will never be able to see it.
I will be ripping apart my 99TL today to take everything out, I JUST GOT A 02TL-S, I will show you how I installed my cd changer controls into my sunglass holder. There is no way the next owner would be able to tell I did it and it will go back to stock perfectly, without any problems.
Considering I will have the sunglass holder completly out today I will wait an take full pics of it, front and back.
How many cords are coming from the VFAC unit?
After cutting the back of my glove box out to install a equalizer/linerdriver in my '99 S10-ss , I've been through the goofs of cutting up something and then seriously regretting it after removal of the MOD..
Trust me this sunglass holder design took a lil' thinkin but it wont effect the function of the sunglass holder, won't leave a visable make on it after the MOd is removed, and IMO works perfectly... you surely don't have to buy an extra sunglass holder...
