** UPDATED** NBP w/mods

Here are some pic's of my car with the new springs, headers, body kit, and Xpel clear bra. The clear bra is on the headlights, bumper kit /including front body kit piece, side pieces of body kit (wrapped all the way to the inside door jam), behind rear wheel on body kit. The lighting wasn't that great, I'll try to get some better pics later in the day, in the right light you can see some lines on the edges of the bumper from the bumper kit.
What do you think?

Looking very nice! I read in a previous post that you have the H&R springs, however, Jens from Park Ave recomended against them do to problems in the rear. Just wondering if you have any problems at all?

Nice! I'm seriously considering installing XPEL on the car because of all the debris on the roads (lots of heavy machinery on my route to work). I've already got dings and chips after only 1 month of driving!

How much did you pay for your XPEL? Did you get it profesionally installed?

Bricot,

Dammmmmmnnnn that car looks sweet! I agree on the polish, I was reaching for my shades. Hope my baby looks as good as yours (my detail guy is coming to clay bar and wax it). As for the ground kit and spoiler.....will have to save some mula for that. I still haven't even made the first car payment...........that's due next month.

Thanks for the pix....it's motivational!

OK, I wanted anyone considering the XPEL clear bra to be able to see the lines. This proved to be extremely challenging, I had to park in a covered structure, open sides, set up a flashlight at 45 degrees from the angle I was taking the picture to get the lines to show. The first pic is normal, the second I turned up the contrast in photoshop. Hope this clearly depicts what you can expect on a dark car. IMO the bumper kit, headlights and ground effects were worth doing (all had natural lines, except sides of bumper, to hide the 'lines' in the Xpel film), I just could deal with a line right across the hood.

I did have it professionally installed (wanted the $1000 paint protection/headlight protection guarantee), the northwest rep is actually going to come down to re-do the bumper piece (first had a defect in the glue that left a line in it). For the bumper, headlights, side skirts, inner fenders it will cost me $400. Not bad.

Cool Well, I'm convinced

Wow, impressive pics! Considering the condition of the front end of the car I'm about to get rid of (lived in CT -- the Under Construction State ), I think I'm going to want that XPEL clear bra to protect my TL-S!

Does anyone in MA or CT know of a good place to get this done? There were a couple of places listed on XPEL's site but they were all far away and I'm not familiar with any of them.

Thanks!
Paul

A while back I saw Herb C's Acura in Framingham advertising a clear bra solution by 3M. Give them a call and see what they have. The only thing is these guys are expensive.

Thanks for the tip! I'll look into it after I pick up the car. Which will hopefully be SOON. Waiting stinks.
