I did I search but could not find anything on this problem.

Last week I started the car like I always do & the Nav screened asked for the security code. I entered it and it works fine but then when I go to USER 1 to input my password for addresses saved it did not accept it. I tried again 2x & still was told I did not have the right pw. I did the same for user #2 and again it won't work. Other than not being able to access my addresses saved or save new addresses, the navigation works normal.

The weird thing is that the radio did not ask for the security code and the battery was not disconnected prior to this.

I am baffled by this.

Do any of you know the default password for user 1 & 2? I tried 0000 and that was useless.

Has this happened to anyone else?

 

yes i know what you mean! i can not access mine as well. i think it is kind of weird. please let me know when someone comes up with an answer! good luck to both of us!

 

I played w/ the PIN today and randomly entered some pins for like 10 minutes, nothing worked. OUt of frustration I just pressed the "Done" button w/o any pin & it lets me into my saved adrresses.


HAHAHA I'm back in business. So for those of you that have the same problem where the Navi resets itself and no PINs entered work, just don't enter any & press done. I guess that when it resets it defaults into no password/pin needed.

My navi does this on occasion and it's totally annoying.
