i've done a search and can't get an exact answer. if i was looking to convert a 2002 type s non-navi to navi, is there any difference between the systems from 99-03? basically, can i get all the components out of any tl or cl type s or non type s and have it all be the same that would have come in a 02 tl type s with navi? thanks

 

The 1999 TL came with a hard drive based nav data unit in the trunk instead of the DVD-based unit used in the 2000-2003 TL models. The DVD systems are a big improvement so you'll want to avoid the hard drive based unit.
