Post Navigation doesnt start at times

When i start my car, the navigation system shows a bunch of blue lines instead of that globe with "acura navigation system" or whatever showing up. Has anyone experienced this? i have to shut my car off and restart it for it to work.

Hmm. I've never had that happen before. Take it back to the dealer. BTW, I'm a student in L.A. too. Which school do you go too?

I go to UCLA. I've had this car for half a year now. It just recently started happening. Could it be the rain? I'm crying here.

Take it to the dealer.

My NAV had a problem with starting, it would just get stuck at the pitcure with the globe. I was going to take it to the dealer, but it stopped doing it and hasn't done it again in like 6 months.

Good luck!

Yeah..I would definitely take it to the dealer too. But first maybe go back there in your trunk and see if the DVD and disc are in securely. Eject the disc and put it back in...maybe it'll help.

One time my touch screen would not respond after it start but I could use the joystick just fine. I was freaking out, but once I started moving (my car that is) it start working agian..and hasn't done that since. Weird huh?

You might want to check the disc.

I had a problem with my aftermarket NAV (OEM NAV wasn’t available in 1st gen models.)
Whenever I hit a bump, the floating compass would bounce around for a few seconds giving me an inaccurate readout. Sometimes I'd hit a larger bump and it would detach off the Velcro.

I have a 99 TL/Nav. Sometimes my Nav doesn't even come up when I start my car (the screen is black). I had to turn the car off and turn it back on again to work. This happened a few times already in the past but not recently.

Knowing my luck, the Nav will be working when I bring it into the dealer. Oh well, I'll let you know what happen.
