Your a little late...the piece that is required is a Pioneer RGB converter...the late part is that Pioneer has discontiuned making this product. Also this is a "next-to-impossible" item to procure too. If you can find one for a good price...BUY IT. If your cool and you find 2...HOOK ME UP!

the pioneer rgb converter is not the only way to play dvd on your stock navi.... i know the navi video guy on here steve has done a couple converstions with the pioneer gex-7000tv... and i think he has also done a couple with the alpine unit as well so it is very possible...

Yea of course, if you have money...anything is possible. The problem is that the Alpine converter is $400. I do recall the pioneer gex-7000tv install...but there was a drawback to that one as well. I think it was price or something also, not sure.

Hey, I got one!

Just keep your eyes open on the For Sale/ Audio+Visual forums of this site and the "other" site. As long as you have the cash to spend, you can probably get one.

the thing with the gex7000 is that you have to have another pioneer screen to adjust the settings. those run upwards of 300 bucks for the screen alone. ask around for the convertor. i ended up paying 200 bucks for mine, but it was so worth it!

Yea, StreetEffects was selling like 3 of them for $350 a piece. Kinda pricey if you ask me.
