Headlight question?

Question Headlight question?

hey
at nite i like to leave my headlights on and they automatically turn off and when i unlock the doors it turns on automaticlly also.
but my questiion is will it make my bulbs lifespan shorter and will it affect the bulbs in long term.

Well, I read somewhere that our stock bulbs our suppose to have a life span of 10,000 hours, so the on and off thing should out really effect them on bit.

Philip 6000K, a set only $280 or so...and they last so long so use the hell out of it. I leave them on all the time now

From what someone told me, the way the HID bulbs are designed, there is no wire on the inside that ignites the gas, but it rather located on the outside, thus you have that wire bar running on the oustide of the HID bulb. With this, there is nothing inside to break and supposedly that means the bulb last longer even though your constantly turning on and off the bulbs.
