I hope somebody can answer this question for me. I am looking to add Navi to my 2001 TL. I found a guy that is selling a Navi unit but no monitor, he has the code so it should be cool. I found a monitor at a junk yard but they do not have a security code.

Would I need a seperate code for the monitor, or do I just need the code that goes with the actual Navi unit (brain)?

Also, if there is anybody that has added Navi to a non-Navi TL, if you could inform me of all the stuff I will have to buy, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your help.

 

It is too much trouble to add factory Navi unit, too many parts to replace, including dashboard, A/C controls, etc. If I were you, I'd look into replacing the radio with the one that has a 7" LCD, wich would allow you to play DVDs/VCDs as well.

 

I have everything you need to complete the setup. Everything you need. Screen, dash, AC controls, Brain w/holder, DVD, navi code, antenna, entire wire harness from a 02 TL.
