The car is asking for the security code for the navi.

I gave acura the serial # off the display unit, and they gave me a 5digit code. however, the navi only asks for a 4digit code.... hence the code acura gave me does not work.

Was I suppose to give Acura the Serial off the DVD Brain Unit, instead of the display? Which serial do i use...... Display or DVD Unit ???

Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

 

The code they gave you is the code for the radio. You give them the serial number off of the dvd unit in the trunk for the navi code.

I thought if you called and gave them the VIN they could give you the codes?

 

this was a navi conversion... so giving them my vin would not be very productive.... heh.
