NAVI question

NAVI question

Hi guys, I just got navi in my '02 TL-S...the only thing I find annoying is that the thing shuts down after like 10 mins...is this normal and is there a way to go through a setup menu or something ang change the setting?

the "charge" wire that sends a signal to the unit telling it the car is running must not be connected or loose, or you may have a bad alternator (as i did in my case)

the system uses this feature to keep your battery from dying when the car is not running.

you're right. it is not connected as per Bolamite's DIY instructions...I guess I should connect it? where did you tap in?

i'll have to double check my schematics....if i remember correctly, it is pin A-21 on the plug furthest left on the guage cluster. its the largest plug on the cluster, but i'll double check my notes when i get out to my car, unless someone else can verify.

It is pin A-21 on the 30 pin connector on the guage cluster (the one furthest left).

It is a white/blue wire. Just splice into that and that should take care of it.
