I just got a used black disc that says version 2.40 on the outside, but when I view "Information" in the menus it says software version: 02.11.29. Is that right?

 

sounds kinda like you may have got jacked..but I dunno for sure

 

I was looking around on the acuranavi.com website for clues and in version 2.20 it says the icon for schools changed from red to green and sure enough, schools shown on my screen are green. I tried checking cities that were updated according to the update list but it's hard to know if the city wasn't in the database at all or if they just added a few streets.

I'm wondering if the CD version doesn't correlate with the actual software version since they haven't made any real huge changes to the software since version 2.11 according to their website.
