So I want to install a remote starter, which means im gonna need to unhook the battery, which means its time for me to get my nav and radio codes.

I called Frankel Acura here in Baltimore and they said they need the serial number off the units. The nav is easy to get to. . its just 4 screws in the trunk, but the headunit is a pain in the ass. I remember awhile back someone said they called a dealer with the VIN and they gave them the codes.. ..

Can someone help me out. . .Can the codes be gotten with the VIN?

 

My Acura told me they would have to take the dash unit out to reset the nav so I could store and erase.
