how do you get the nav screen to show only the time in the middle of screen

 

don't agree to the legal warning and it goes into the clock mode. When in that mode, press the little clock in the lower right of the screen. that makes it bigger and brings it to the middle.

Or, agree to the warning, click on setup next to the clock and click the button for "display off" or whatever it says (I can't remember exactly). Then press the little clock.

Thats correct if you push the small set up box & it goes to the next screen this has volume,brightness & all the other stuff.
It also has where you can turn off the display.
