Just a fun thread: The Navi is a female voice - not the most mellifluous I have heard. I call her Nan (the Nag).

She just doesn't sound like a Heather or a Simone.

My wife and I couldn't think of a good name, so we call her Mrs. Directions. We talk to her like she is in the car with us and have a pretty good laugh!

The Nav is great when you are in a place that you don't know at all. Every once in a while we will type in a place in our own town, but she never takes us the route we like to go. Still a very usefull option!!!!!!

 

If i had to give her a name, i'd say kimmie... that girl from survivor 2 that was from ling island.... she sucked!!! I hated the nav voice.... So i turned it off , RIP kimmie... she no longer speaks, just like all good women!!!

 

We call her "Suzie Wrong" because she has us exit the freeway and then get right back on. This happened in Chicago a couple of times.

this was posted in the TL forum a while ago and a good percentage of the people had named her "B!TCH" because they were always saying "Shutup b!tch and stuff like that.

I named mine "M", like in James Bond and that's what I refer to my girlfriend as to people I know (Marilyn is her real name).

 

Wow, um.... a little too much on your hands huh? I juts scream at the navi when i says, keep driving on this parkway, and it does it like 80 times.

Seriously, I never use the voice function but I think she sounds like a Miyoko.

 

I unofficially named her, Carolyn, after a friend of mine. Carolyn is always giving me directions, even when the NAV is on.

 

I call it "What the heck?..."
