N00b Question

I have used the search function but I couldn't really find what I wanted. Im getting my windows tinted tomorrow and i have a 03 tls black on black(bought it last week, shes sexi as hell) but the guy was saying because its dark with dark interior the tint will appear darker so he reccomened 35 on the sides, 20 on the quarter panels and 20 on the rear. does anyone have feedback or pictures of a black on black tl with tint. i want it to be dark but not so dark the 5-0 will fuck with me.

5-0 will mess wit u even wit the 35% but u have a very slim chance with that...the combo he offered u sounds good...i have 35% all the way around with a blk on blk tl and it looks good and no cops fuck wit me...i had 20% on the sides and back and teh boys got at me big time...so either 35% all the way around or the combo the tint man offered ya

if your gonna get 35 on the sides, do it all the same. none of that 20% on the quarter crap. u can get 20 on the rear if you want, it maybe hard to reverse in dark areas. i have 35% all around, and i have grey with black interior, you can just see thru in the day and its dark at night. if you want it darker, get 20% all around.

I have mine at 35% and my TL is silver with black interior and I think it's perfect. I kinda wish I had done 20% in the back, but you can't see shit at night plus you have an auto-dim mirror so I thought it unnecessary.

With the black interior you can barely see inside during the day, and at night it's almost like looking into a black hole, the flashing security light is about all that's visible.

I would stick with one tint all the way around except maybe the rear window, I think it looks wierd to see a car with mismatched tint on the sides.

damn bobo thats dark as hell! HAHA Anyway, i got 35% all around on my car (I have AM with black interior) and i kinda wish i stuck with the 20% that i was going to get. Although at driving at night 35% is perfect but the daytime its alittle too light for me.
