Mysterious Clunking

So I know I've been absent a while and I know this will sound vague but recently when I let off the brakes at a stop or come onto the gas initially from a stop there is a clunk I can feel it in the pedal and its decently audible as well any ideas?

I'm thinking ball joint just replaced motor mounts last year, how do you test for a damaged ball joint?

^^Put your car in stands now with the wheel in the air, Grab it by the top and bottom and try to giggle it to the inside of the engine bay and out.

If the wheel moves a little bit (Knuckle moves away from Control Arm) then your Top ball joint is shot.

To test bottom BJ, Grab a jack and put it below your wheel (With the car on stands) then jack the wheel up and pay close attention to the Lower BJ! If the whole knuckle moves before the A-Arm then your Lower ball joint is shot. If both moves at the same time then its ok.

Did ya replace all of the motor and tranny mounts ?
Recheck them first, then look at the front suspension. (Ball joints/bushings)

What year is your car? How many miles?
My vote is radius rod bushings.

If the ball joints check out fine, definitely have a look at your radius rod bushings. I have a set waiting to go into my TL-S as I have a similar clunk, but it also happens when pulling into and out of certain driveways and going over speed bumps.

are the radius rod busings in front and in the rear? my noise feels/sounds like it's coming from the rear of the vehicle.

ck the upper control arm bushings for front thunk over speed bumps and driveways
my 01 has been doing that and a glance in the wheel well confirmed failure
not too bad a fix, especially for the trick suspension crowd,,,more room to work

Have a look at both transmission mounts on the drivers side, if broken that could be the source.

also look at the brake caliper brackets
I have seen those bolts tightened by a shop with an air gun- WAY past torque spec,,140 lbs when spec is ~60
stripped/Ripped the threads right out of the bracket!
Every time the brakes were operated the caliper- now loose and rotating on the remaining bolt = noise..and serious brake issue
