My trunk lip is now my roof spoiler

So I bought a Mugen replica from Tegkid and will pick it up this weekend. So I decided to take my trunk lip spoiler, since I wont need it any longer and threw it on my roof. What you guys think? I painted it matte black but I think I have to clear it. For the newer guys, this mod has been done many times before.

It looks nice, what trunk lip spoiler did you use for that (M3?). Also a bit off topic, but are those the '02 a-spec rims?

Yea, its just my m3 cheapo one I got off ebay. they are A specs but I dont think they made them in 02, but off the newer body.

Nice roof spoiler.....nice Aspec rims too...How much did you buy them for? I want to replace my stock TL-S rims with those for the winter if I can find them for a good price.

Nice. I've always liked roof spoilers.

Although to me its kinda too subtle. If it was bigger, it'd be better

thanks guys, yea I had to trim the edges and round them off, but I had a dremel, mod took like 10 mins, minus spraying it back. Hopefully it will flow with my mugen replica spoiler though

That looks pretty good black, especially with your tinted rear window. Good idea!

BTW, your TL-S is gonna look sweet with the Mugen replica. Congrats.

Sarona is looks good, if it was a bit smaller. I think its a bit bigger then i would want and this one is a bit smaller then what I would want, I would like one in the middle. But I rather have this then nothing!

Looks good. Perhaps if you had the roof spoiler match the SSM body paint instead of matte black it might flow better?

Since you're getting the Mugen replica spoiler, you could paint everything all at once.

Just a thought.

But I might be out of paint, so I might have to wait till after work on monday to have another pint mixed up for me.

Looks good! I was debating doing this as well since I have the CF Mugen replica (sitting in my room waiting to be painted) and the M3 on my trunk now. I'm gonna remove the M3 today and mod it.

Looks good! wow, such as simple mod but with the shadow it creates, it really stands out nice! I always thought about this mod..the ebay M3 spoiler prepainted is the way to go..i have one on my trunk already..i wonder if two that close would look funky..but may be worth a shot...
