Is this a bad sign for my tranny or just my torque converter? While driving tongiht i was going about 35-40 in D5 and a couple of times it felt like there was no resistance on the accelertor and when i pushed down nothing happed for a few seconds then it caught. I have an 03 TLS and though i might be out of the woods for this problem.

yes. check fluid color. if dark. be prepaired for tranny failure

acura replaced my whole transmission. said it was the big problem that all TLs were experiencing

watch your shifts from 1-2 and 2-3 are they delayed? does it ride (like a slipping clutch) as it shifts? thats the biggest sign. its subtle but its a good sign
