My TL got raped this morning by some punk teenager. The car was side swiped, from the head all da way to the rear door. The worse part was that the B piller is bent pritty badly. I guess... The up side is that I think the teenager really really learned his lession. He was shaking like crazy as he was talking to the police. I will have more pics for you all to see soon



PS: Where is a good place to have my car fixed in Ontario??? anyone????

It's unfortunate that that happened, but at least it wasn't a hit and run...that would have been much much worse...

 

im sorry to hear about your incident ,,,but i was curious as to how insurance works in canada......here in nyc we have what they call no-fault insurance....i think thats pretty self explanitory... what about there ??

that really does suck....punks..... The thing that really sucks is that the repair work is never as good as the OE paint job....just make sure wherever you take the car they do a good job.....I had my wife's TL done a few months ago after she was hit and the job looked good for a while....but six months later the clearcoat is chipping off where they did the repair work...and this was a really good shop, so be careful

Sorry to hear man... Erin Mills Acura has their own Body Shop. I've never used them but I'd assume going to a dealer shop (where they don't outsource themselves) might do a better job.

Whatever you do check to see if the insurance will give you a diminished value payment since your car is new...

Thanks guys for all the input. I will be most likely be taking my car to a BMW/Mercedies Benz repair shop in Kingston. I have heard great things about them. The person who service my car at Honda told me to have my car done there...so I know it's going to be good. He also told me that the all the front fender and the two doors that were damaged will not be repaired, but instead be replaced with a new one. The only thing that needs to be repainted is the b-piller, which is only a bit dented. I will also be getting new rims and new front skirts. Thankfully...."I have not yet install my side and rear skirts". oh...one more thing, Driver seat and front left spring may also be replaced with a new one.
