yeah, that base part should be a metal piece that's glued on.

My mirror falls off the metal piece. The glue is not the problem.

Get some pliers and bend the bracket in the mirror so it hugs the metal brace tighter. Mine was loose and I did that, no problems now.

Yea if you squirt the whole tube of glue on it. A little bit and it will do wonders without making a mess

And that was what i was stating the glue for, not the metal base but to hold the mirror to it.

i did the exact same thing it works and then one day i bent the bracket little bit too far and it broke... soo if anyone gonna do this be careful lol
