My SRS light keeps coming back on after

My SRS light keeps coming back on after

a few days of resetting. This is the 3th times it is happening?
Anybody know what is the problem.

You should have dropped what you were doing and taken it to the dealer immediately after the FIRST time it came back on after resetting....

Remember what was said to you in the thread regarding the reset? If it comes back on after resetting it, then you DO have a serious problem and it needs to get checked out.

Ditto what SwampGas said, but I am pretty sure that a warning light for the SRS system cannot be reset by simply disconnecting the battery like the check engine light. A special tool is needed which the dealer has to reset the SRS light.

Ron did a few installs on a few peoples rides where he took out the seats, and I think they had to go to the dealer to reset the SRS system.

The procedure for reseting it was discussed in this thread..it's a very simple routine, and the false code can show up if the SRS system doesn't get power when the rest of the car gets power (battery disconnect, messing around in the fuse box, etc).
