My night ended before it began
It was like 70 degrees over here and i was all excited about goin cruisin. Washed my car and went to DQ to get some food. I backed into a spot and went to go get some food. I come back out, get in my car, put my keys in the ignition and 45 mins later heres the end result.

no this bitch just decided not to start. i had power to everything but the car didnt start. i had this problem once before and i towed it to acura. 100 dollars later they said my starter cable was loose and they had to plug it back in. im assuming its the same issue again. not payin their bitchasses again. Acura has really been pissin me off lately im really starting to hate their service. when my inverter blew out they tried tellin me my bulb went too, they tried chargin me 150 bucks for the bulb, i told them to shove it up their ass and bought an oem bulb on ebay and later it turns out my original bulb wasnt even blown. they acctually do live up to the name stealership

i couldnt even find the starter cable. i had a buddy PM fsttyms1 to figure out the exact location of the starter cable but by the time he could get back to me it was too late. I wasnt about to sit at the DQ parkinlot all night long

Where you at the Crystal Mall in Waterford, CT on December 2nd?
I only ask, because I saw the same car that day when I was leaving that mall.
I was driving my girls '06 Civic and just watched you take off... Well, if that was you
Check the battery cable as well. I had a loose battery cable before, and everything would power on fine with the key in ACC or On. But then when I cranked it, the loose cable wouldn't allow enough juice to go to the starter, and then everything would go off - eg: you could hear all the relays clicking off.
Good luck man. Sounds like you need to find another dealer with better service even if its a bit of a drive.

It's probably a simple problem.. if you hear rapid small clicking but the lights flicker as well, your battery's dead. Also, the starter cable's easy to check on, well, for the '99 it's easy to get to but I don't know about your car's year.. I haven't been under the hood of that car since I helped installed Mark's headers back in providence, RI. Look at it this way, it's not your transmission.
If they fixed the battery cable, it's probably something else like a bad battery or another problem. Always remember=Stealerships make their money by charging you for repairs and retail parts, which they make over 100 percent on. If they try to rip you off, contact the Stealership manager and complain in person. The last time I complained, at least I felt better afterwards. Being 6'4" and 225 pounds, dressed in a suit and tie=I can be quite intimidating. I complained loud enough so that everyone in the waiting room heard me. AHHHH=that felt good.
Sorry i couldnt get back to you soon enough. I was out of town, and that was the soonest i could get to a computer.
Starter cables always come directly off th battery to teh starter. You should have followed the cables off th battery. Did it not make ANY noise at all? If not im wondering if you have a bad starter or solenoid?
They arent all like that, mine has never been bad or tried to charge me for something else.

luckily i have a good place i take my ride to for service. it really helps when you're buddy's uncle owns the place. i didn't even get charged a penny last time i took my car in for a front end noise.

well i just brought my car home. 135 bucks and they said a wire running from the started was loose. wtf, im soo pissed I figured acura fixed it the last time this shit happened.
Bring it back to Acura and have the reimburse you. They have a warranty on all repairs, so they should have fixed it for free...
Next, learn how to tighten this thing!!!
I had the same thing happen to me in my Bronco back when I was 17, but I luckily knew how to fix it.
