I don't think there's anything you can do. Is your car still under warranty? If so, bring it back to the dealership. If not, bring it to a body shop and see what they can do.

I still works though. It's bent, but I'm still able to jack the car up. My only concern is if it's safe or not. It's the front passenger's side. The side where I do my oil changes. And yes, my car is still under warranty.

DON'T go underneath your car or try to do work on it until you get it fixed. Not worth a potential accident.

Exclamation my tow hook got bent somewhere along the line ...

you can jack the car up from several spots on the frame. there is one on each side of the car between the doors, underneath, and one in the front, back under the bumper between the 2 tow hooks. mine is still bent! i don't even know when it happened? if you heard a snap when you were using a frame jackpoint! oh sh*t! kman

DO NOT jack up your car using the front and rear frame rails. They will bend and cannot support the weight of the car. You can, however, use the tow hooks in the front and in the rear to jack up your car

I have jacked up my car numerous times usingn the jack points on the side and never had a problem. I don't use the crappy Acura scissor jack, but rather a hydraulic one. Make sure you have it positoned correctly so it doesn't try and shift when you jack up the car. Not only can you do damage to the frame itself, but it could also be a potential disaster if you are under the car at that time.

I was using a hydrolic. I positioned it and repositioined it twice. I just don't know what happened. I'm going to take it to the dealer to see if they can do anything about it. Thanks for all the help everybody.

I doubt it will be covered under warranty because as much as no one wants to hear its 'their fault' it is. You have to make sure its positioned proportionally. Keep us updated though

Sorry to hear about the bending of your jack point. I hope the dealer helps you out on this.

For those who are jacking up the car to change oil and not do wheel work, I highly recommend getting ramps instead...no risk co the car coming down on top of you with ramps. Rhino ramps will fit under most lowered cars.

Yeah, I might have to go that route. I don't trust that jack point anymore. How do these ramps work? Any safety precautions that need to be taken?

i dont think those jackpoints were made for a lot of usage...maybe a few times if you have a flat...but they really dont look that strong...especially not strong enough for a hydro...i dont know, but that really sux man...let us know when you get it fixed...Shyne

DO NOT WORK UNDER YOUR CAR IF YOU ARE JUST USING A JACK, EVEN HYDRAULIC ONES!!! Use Jack Stands or as suggested ramps.
