Post My introduction

Just wanted to introduce myself as a TL-S owner. Bought the Diamond White Pearl/Ebony, no NAV on March 20 at St. Louis Acura. Serial number under 1100.

Other cars in the fleet are 89 & 93 SHO's. I've been on the SHOtimes list since '95.

Anyone else in the St. Louis area?

John W.

Hi John and welcome to the board. Im from Indy but my wife was originally from St. Charles. I go down to Earth City on business every few months and am familiar with St. Louis. Nice city. I just returned from 4 days at Osage Beach...took my TL-S on its first real road trip. 30.1 mpg at 82 mph....I was impressed! Anyway, welcome to the board.

BTW - forgot to mention that I was the proud owner of a white 1990 SHO. They were real sleepers with that Yamaha headed V6! Not too many folks knew what they were back then.... OMG...smoked by a Taurus??? LOL!

I traded in a Windstar with a knocking engine and slipping transmission. Back in March there was no dealing with the msrp, but was more than happy with the trade-in. A good deal overall in my opinion. They were selling them faster than they could be preped when we bought our TLS (3/20). The first carrier load was delivered about 10 AM and five were sold by 2 PM. The dealer is just a few miles from home and gives free oil changed for 50k miles.

That could have been my wife. She's usually zooming down I-270 south in afternoon rush hour. Wow! 6 years on the SHO-times mail list and was never seen.
