Would you guys recommend LED fog light bulbs?
There are couple posts on them but nothing too recent (dead pics) .
I don't wan't to put in too much $ but don't want to spend on something that looks (you guys with the hid kits look 120%).

One of my fogs chipped (a cone like hole) story short I plugged it and put in a temporary 9$ "yellow" halogen bulb (I'll post some pictures) (looks off with the 6000k ish halogen bulb on the other fog). I like the LED bulb as if a bit of moisture gets in it wont be the end of the world - and I could coat them in epoxy or silicone to waterproof them.
What would you think about one of these?

Got them in the mail today!

Either I get them in Thursday after work, or I wait until next week.

I have a bachelor party to go to from Friday afternoon and all weekend to Sunday in a cabin on the lake in Wisconsin Dells.

I'll be sure to post pics after I get them in too!

So the shipping was awesome and I absolutely had to put them in.

I've been missing a fog light for quite a while now and dealt with it, once I started to notice the pink in the headlights...
I decided it was time!

I have them installed and in, turn out there is something else wrong with my fog light though. All this time I thought it was burnt out, but I guess there is an underlying problem somewhere else. I'm not getting the HID to turn on.
I tested the ballast and bulb on the other side and it does work, I reversed the polarity and it didn't fix it. Now I have to trace down the problem.

It is on the passenger side and the washer-fluid pump is getting power (looks like it comes from the same line). I have to investigate...
Suggestions welcome...

I would suspect the connector or the ground.

There were a series of events that led to my problem.
The original fog light was in fact burnt out.
One of the wires was loose in the connection.
And I didn't have the connector in all the way.
-you can't flame me though because the way the connection is designed, I had to cut out a notch for it to slide in all the way. I had to reverse the polarity on it.

I took these pics in the garage and my dog, Murphy, had to get in on some of them... Shoulda turned off the garage door light though, oh well...

I LOVE 'em! Had to go for a drive and it looks great! I look hot!
Camera doesn't do justice! I got one good pic that really shows the yellow in the 3k fog.
The 5k low beams aren't too far off from the 4.3k stock ones I had. No more pink though!

As usual when working on a project, I have extra parts...
One is from the fog light, some thing broke and it seems like it's a little loose.
The cylindrical object is confusing, Murphy was playing with it when I saw it, so I am not sure if he dropped it by me or if it came off my car...

This has been on my DIY-To-Do List for a long time!
IT'S FINALLY DONE!

(For future DIY'ers, it was an easy DIY for my '03 and much more affordable that I thought it was going to be.)

That looks great!!!! :gheywave:
Actually, maybe, sign me up!
If you don't mind, I have a few questions myself...
Did you have to pull off the bumper to install it? (otherwise is it going to be messy?)

I am thinking of getting these puppies:

...as my fog bulbs mismatch and I use my fogs a lot.
Can LED's compare to these interns of looks and functionality (i know they wont be as bright but...) or will they just be a waste of $$...

I had the same issue..my passenger side fox wouldn't work so I tested the ballasts and fogs on the driver side and it worked. I tried to flip it and that still didn't work.

You just made sure it was snug inside? The stock fogs when I put it all back works, but when I put the HID kit only driver side works...

Im at a loss of ideas.. I bought my kit at the same place... went with 6k for 9k on my fogs and 6k for my headlights.
