Hi,
03tls 50k already had tranny replaced at acura. for a while now wanna say about 4 months or so, every now and then my check engine tcs and the triangle with ! come on. i get the code checked when its on. says coolant temp sensor so i replaced it myself. but now it'll still randomally all come on at once the car drives comepletly normal. i dont understand, im afraid to bring it to acura because it comes and goes and it wont throw a code if its not on. whats a boy to do?

Last time I checked CEL's didn't clear themselves up, you had to clear them manually, or pull the backup fuse.

BUT, if it is indeed happening, I would check the integrity of the wiring to your engines electrical components, sensors etc. Perhaps start with the coolant temp sensor?

wouldn't that suck if it was just a loose wire?

I almost bought a new O2 sensor once for the same reason.

unless your 65 then im sure you have a camera phone. take a pic and have it printed out but hold a paper next to the cluster with the date and the time. otherwise there is nothing you can do. and even then i dont thnk they would help but its something

Ill take a look at the wiring but one more thing, if im driving and the lights come on the temp gauge will go all the way down to cold. then after a few seconds it usually comes back to reg. this sucks.
