yeah so i just put these nokya yellow fog bulbs and they looked real hot but this mornin one stopped workin on the way to school so once i parked my car i took a look. the drivers side bulb had exploded into pieces. now theres glass shards inside my fog. what can i do? acura said $199 to replace it. is there diy for removing the fog so i can see if i can get the pieces out

 

look under your bumper, you'll see a little square hole. Take a ratchet with an extension and use a 10mm socket and remove the bolt holding the foglight housing in. Once the bolt is out, you might have to wiggle the housing a bit as it might be kinda stuck. i guess you can try taking out the bulb and trying to shake the pieces out of the hole. good luck

 

Take out the fog out then take a vaccum hose and try to suck it out...

same thing happend to my Yellow fog light bulb.
i basically took out the Foglamp, took an airhose and blew the shit out of the inside.
make sure there is no moisture in the hoseline.

 

yep same thing happened to me, except it fried my harness then I put the OEM bulb back in took it to Acura and they replaced my harness and bulb.

 

thanx guys ill have it taken care of tomorrow. any particular reason why this happened?
