Just when I thought I could live with the 50 noises I already have, I got another one. This one does not appear to come from inside the car. When I go above 30 mph, I hear a tick tick tick coming from somewhere in or near the engine. It happens at all speeds above 30. Has anyone experienced this same noise?

Also, I noticed, when my steering wheel is turned and I back up, I hear a click click click noise. Any possible guesses?

Just a guess but maybe it's the power steering pump.

I'd check easy things, like get underneath your car and check for leaks, stuff hanging, sticks, twigs anything.

Seriously, pop your hood and just check everything thoroughly. See if anything is loose or anything is in the way.

Guess what, it was a squirl lol Just playing. I still don't know what it is. I checked under my hood and I cant locate the noise. I can't even hear it when I am stopped or idle. It only happens above 30. I hate these little annoyances. I just dont get whats wrong with my car.

OK, here is what you do. Get someone you dont care much for. Ex girlfriend, little brother, someone. Take the hood off the car. Strap them to the front fo the car. Do thirty on a highway and have them locate exactly where the sound is coming from. BTW, just to cover my a$$ dont actually do this. I know you're not stupid but many people are, and i'd be responsibleif someone got hurt or killed. So it is a JOKE, don't actually do it.

Listen i got in trouble once for telling that she should become a blonde she said it was too expensive, i told her just to put her hair in a sick with clorox. 5 YEARS have passed and she is still trying to get money out of me for the damage to her hair and scalp. Her parents tried to sue my parents when it happened. So now if i joke around i add a disclaimer all the time. Because people are really that dumb.
