Cool Is my a/c ready for summer?

I've learned alot on how to take care of my baby from you guys. Just want to know what a diy'er like myself can do to help her a/c perform at its best this summer. No nothings wrong but I'm very preventive and just want to know what to check or look out for. TIA

ac is a sealed system. no maintenance req. if it doesnt work, then you have issues.

The only thing you can really "do" is to top off your freon.

Then I'm good to go. No coolant leaks or anything else. Getting ready to do a cabin filter. Need a mix motor. Too but that can wait. I'm gonna look up the 'topping off freon' thanks alot

if you have ac guages to ck the freon operating pressure- you can add a few ounces to the system when needed-trained people only please~~

If it blows cold on the freeway- its working

You could check the evaporator and condensor for debris (bugs, leaves, etc.) clogging them. Anything that reduces air flow degrades efficiency.
