Currently interested in finally getting some nice muffler tips for my 99TL. Not sure where to buy the right muffler tips that i will end up likeing but if you all could post some pics of what muffler tips you have or that others have and what muffler tips they are, it would be greatly appreciated. Also if any of you know where i can buy these muffler tips at, that would help alot. thanks....

 

i have 3A racing tips from mufflermall.com. a lot of members had jumped on them when they went on sale.

 

3A tips are very nice. They can be found in alot of auto parts stores like Auto Zone

 

Another one up for the 3A tips, I had the pilots but decided oh heck whatever so it sticks out by a little, its like 47 bux with tax at Autozone for a pair.

Looks like there's two different kinds of 4" 3A at mufflermall.com ROUND I and ROUND II. Any difference in size/fitment and appearance?

They are made by a company called Silverline. They are double walled and chromed. I bought a dual tip and cut it and had the individual tips welded on. Looks Amazing compared to stock.

Does anybody have the TSX tips on their TL? I was at the dealer yesterday and I was looking at a TSX that was in for service. The tips caught my eye as they were very nice!! Anybody have first hand knowledge if they will fit or not?

 

i swear i posted this earlier, but obviously not..........do you think the 4" tips would look too big on a car w/o a rear lip? probably overkill imo, but just curious...

 

Personally, I think they look a little big because of the thick rolled edge. Maybe as a 3" they would look ok to me.

 

Ok guys. Im Back and I'm finally taking some time to decide and figure out which pair of Muffler Tips im going to order. Can some more people give their input on what they think the best size and brand of muffler tip i should get? Mayalayee king has some very nice ones in the pic high up in this thread but which ones are those?

damn it has been that long. wow, FAIL. anyways, yea man time just flys. I been so busy that i just dont even come on Azine anymore really and never finished deciding on muffler tips to get. But uh, what about Pilot Motor Sports tips? I had a pair once but wrong fitment. The looked pretty nice. What size opening are your 3A's? 2.5?

 

Pilot and 3A Racing are the same company.
