Question Msg for Road Rage...

Rage --
You know my situation. I took my TLS in once for tranny trouble and they said nothing was wrong -- fix attempt number 1. I took it in again when the car became immobile. They spent a couple of days w/ it and finally replaced the transmission shift sensor, which didn't fix the problem. Now they're waiting for a whole new tranny to see if that fixes it. In your opinion, would the trans. shift sensor be attempt number 2 and the new transmission attempt number 3 under VA Lemon Law even though I didn't get the car back in between?

Thanks

Are you sure you aren't that Amsoil guy trying to entrap me into practicing law without a license. Hell, it is hard enought to be an engineer!

I honestly do not know for sure - my guess is that iterations during one visit do not count.

But I also think the law allows for the number of days out of service.

If you are really gung-ho, go to a lIbrary and read the law. Most universities or good libraries can help find the code applicabe.
