Thank you for everyones feedback on this forum while i was consdiering getting the Acura.

At the end of last week i went out and purchased a 2003 Acura TL 3.2 Type S (pictures at link below).

I am very happy with the car and its power so far, there are a few little things i will need advice on and will post my questions later on.

I come here from a very different community (I owned a Crown Vic, but please dont bash it i loved the car for the 6 years i had it), but it was time for a change.

Care to tell us about your future plans for the whip?

 

FL if you are asking what i plan to modify in the car (as im not sure what whip means), for the time being i am going to leave it alone.

What i do finally plan to do is enjoy a car with enough power to finally keep me happy

 

congrats on the car, don't see too many noble green's around...check out cl platano's noble green tl-s, it's really coming along nicely...but then again, you might catch the mod bug

My crown vic had a pushbar and tint which had the occasion of confusing me for a police car in Long island and a cab in NYC

Both mistakes im willing to let go now...

congrats, please remove the gold emblems, they look tacky. I like the color too.

 

Yeah i really dont like the gold emblems / acura sign. How hard would it be for me to switch it out to silver?

 

wouldnt be hard at all, u'd just have to get em from the dealer. If ur gonna switch, i would say just debadge and replace the gold "A" (both front and rear) with a silver.

 

doesnt it look like he has hid fogs? or is it just me? nice car tho. Plat has some competition now.
