mounting hid ballast for foglight

so im in the process of ordering my HID plug in and play for 35$ from DDM tuning and was wondering where do you guys have the Ballast mounted? also, for having an EBP TL, should I go for 6000K to match my headlights or go 3000k. thanks!

i'm happy with 3000k

i bolted the ballast to the frame, and double sided taped it for extra piece of mind.

i guess?? i have a 2000 so in stalled mine when i was doing my civic fog retrofit so i had to have the bumper off in the first place. i guess if you can take the spashguard out of the way, but honestly i think removing the bumper would be faster and easier, you'll have more visibility.

I mounted mine under the headlights on the frame. Probably easier to take off the bumper. It only takes like 5 mins.

I'm happy with 3000k. I might order a pair in 5000k for the summer season.

Matching color FTW..I have 5000k and love the pure white I get. Lights up the road beautifully.. Also removing bumper cover makes mounting many times easier than trying to go from under the car

I just used double sided 3M tape. Stuff is strongggg. Just make sure to clean the frame carefully.

I 3M taped mine under the headlight frame, very simple install, and also hides the wiring nicely.
