It's possible....only thing you need is an Electronic linear actuator. The linear actuator is just a electronic arm that extends and retracts. So for the trunk to go up...you would wire the acutator on a delay, after you press the trunk release button. The trunk pops up and the actuator will raise. To close it you would need to run a different switch and the arm will retract and the trunk will close.
