Anyone broken a motor mount before???
I had the tranny swapped almost 4 month and 6k miles ago...I've been feeling something odd in the pedal and hearing a slight clunk for the last week or two. Got on it this morning and it really clunked, and sure enough, the lower motor mount was broken and is being replaced right now by the dealer.
Is this something that was likely a result of the tranny swap or could it have been normal, though apparently awfully early in the life of the car (20 months and 40k miles)?

 

My friends 99 TL had a brokenmotor mount that made it seem like the tranny was going.

 

acctually there's a TSB on the mounts and...both mine were bad ...the rear top was tourn completly away...ill bet many have bad mounts and dont even know it
