so it turns out i had the right radio code all along but the radio continues to reject it. i've also tried pulling the fuse out and letting the system reset but i had no luck there either.

Volly, did they mention what the problem was and how much did it cost you.

NSX, someone looked it up and confirmed the code for me. also because its on the original anti-theft card that the previous owner handed me but i began to question it when the code didnt work.

Like i said I had this happen, I had just disconnected the battery and then waited for a little and kept trying. On my fifth try I am already sweating and cursing like a mofo but it took it. The SAME code I tried for the 4 times earlier. I know I didnt mess up since I had 2 other people watch my 3rd and 4th tries.

same here except i've inputed this thing over a 100 times total so far, it usually locks me out after 10 attempts but an hour later i try again, hoping i'll have the luck you had.

Before I bought the car used, they had it fixed for me, I just told them the radio don't work, then they fixed it.

I progessively did it slower and slower. Wish I could of been more help. So how do you reset it after you get locked out? Disconnect it for a few hours? When I had my problem, I had disconnected it for about 10 days then my radio code didnt work until the 5th one. This happened to a friend's Navi unit in a TL-S as well, the 4th time it finally took it.

Just a slight reconfiguration I think. You don't need to replace it.

no need to disconnect, the system resets itself after an hour but if you impatient you can pull the radio fuse and it resets instantly
