Cool More Pictures - TLs w/Kit & Spoiler

One last round of photos with the sun out this time. Don't want to hog the board, so this will be it.

Thanks to all for the head-inflating comments! I think my head is about to burst!

Hope these are OK, they are about 70K each, so you modem guys hang in there....

Personally, I'm tired of the rear spoiler look on a car.

I have had it on my Maxima SE for 3 years. It was a standard feature with the car and I'm glad to see the end of it!

Does that help deflate your "head".

I like the rear spoiler! It finishes off the car.

I too had Maximas. I took my 89 SE 247,000 miles before I traded it for a 96 Maxima. Traded that one for a 97 Maxima (due to a service issue). Then I saw the 99 TL, and went for that.

(You want to know what car looks really silly with the rear spoiler, it's the current Maxima SE. That has to be the worst looking rear end on a "sport sedan" available today. The Maxima before that looks WAY more classy than the current model.)

It appears that there are a number of guys on this forum that have owned Maxima's at one time.

Just an observation.

Has anyone determined how much weight the rear spoiler and body kits adds to the car?

Thanks for posting these pics, compared to the other members silver one, the black looks a lot better. I wanted silver at first, but the black just looks more formal and more luxurious (especially when cleaned). Now I can't decide! By the way, the spoiler is a must, that kind of finishes off the car. Love it all. Thanks for the pics. Also shows that rims make the car too!

I have a black TL 99, it looks superb just out of the wash but gets very dirty in a hurry... I am getting silver in a year.

The black with the spoiler is awesome. Note the worst spoiler is the one on the Hyundai Tiboron. Also the current Maxima rear end is hideos and nothing, I say nothing, not even the spoiler can save that back end.

Yeah, I'm guilty too.....I still have a 92 Maxima, for when I don't want to pile the miles on the TL...I actually like the current Maxima, but I wanted a near luxury car, and I had double-wishbone lust......thus the TL.

I had a '95 Maxima for 5 yrs before I bought my TL, because I don't like the back end of the 2000 Maxima.
