More Navi Questions

I am sure you guys are tired of seeing Nav questions from me but I am still trying to get mine fixed . I installed it with a friend and everything works fine, except the accuracy of it. Check here to see what my exact problem is. Anyway, my question now is when I do the diagnostic on the Nav in my car, I am not sure what some of the screens mean. On the "yaw rate" screen it says Monitor and Tuning. When I go to tuning it seems like I can make adjustments but I don't know what CW and CCW mean (my best guess is clockwise and counter clockwise) but even after I have made adjustments, I see no change. The other is "tire calibrate". Again, I can make an adjustment to a percentage of something but I have no idea what the heck I am adjusting and I notice no changes when I do adjust it. If anyone has any idea here, I would appreciate it a lot. I would take it to the dealer...the only problem is the closest dealer is 2 hours away. Not like I can just drop it off after work.

If you want to see changes, I think you have to save before you exit.

khoifl...you are awesome . Much better searcher than I am. I searched this for at least an hour one day and couldn't come up with anything related. Maybe I should have typed in "yaw rate" or "tire calibration"...but I didn't Well now I am headed outside for some tests. I will let you know what I find out. Thanks again.

Thank you. I just happen to come across the thread before. Try to expose the gps antenna to the sky and drive around for 10 mins. Sorry, I couldn't help much because I used the universal gps for alpine & I don't have the problem.

The thread that you linked me to helped out ALOT. I am now at least on the road. My settings were at +7.8 and +8.9. I am still having some forward and backwards motion though. I am not sure if there is a setting for this or not but it's not a huge deal. It gets a little annoying b/c the lady repeats herself like 5 times but I can always turn the volume down and just pay attention to the screen. Thanks again...you have been much more helpful than you think you have.
