Post Moonroof Visor - - Are they any good?

What do you guys think about the Moonroof Visor for the TL Types S? Are they any good? If so? Are they easy to install?

thanks!

they serve their purpose. it's all a matter of opinion if you like how it looks on the car.

Personally i have one and i think its great! I also have a black 2001 TL though so the the visor fits the lines perfect in my opinion. What color car do you have?

I think it looks good on my Silver TLS. It's very functional, too. I can open the sunroof doing 80-90 on the freeway, and there's practically no wind. The dealer threw mine in, so I have no idea how hard the installation was, but I doubt it would take a rocket scientist.

moon roof visor a must! looks good , totally reduces wind noise by 90% vs. no visor! i know i have had with and with out.keeps any airborne particles , rocks, bugs, etc, from getting on you. install is simple ... 2 screws that tighten a small "L" or "S" shaped bracket to a flange on the sunroof meant to accomodate the bracket. bracket screws to visor on left and right side where the screw holes are , tighten and your done! make sure you wax the area where the rubber gasket from the visor makes contact with the paint. hope that helps? kman156

Im not a big fan of them but they do serve their purpose. I drive on the highway with ALL the windows and sunroof open at 90 mph!

Doesn't wind visor actually increase wind noise when you have the moon roof closed? The visor will cut thru air and that turbulance will creat wind noise... I think?

Besides, IMHO, a car doesn't look too clean w/ a visor.

Even with the sunroof open, it is much quieter with the visor than without.
