Question moonroof visor

Does anyone know if the moonroof visor for the TL is really worth the price? I am considering getting one, but didn't know if it significantly reduces the noise and buffeting like Acura claims it does. Would appreciate any comments. Thanks.

It does what they claim it does. It was on my car when I picked it up but I removed it becuase I didnt care for the way it looked. Not to mention I like the wind blowing in the car. If you want no wind blowing in the car and for it to be quiet while the roof is open then I would get it.

I took my moonroof visor off for several reasons. First of all, it covered half of the sunroof which defeats the purpose of a sunroof. Second of all, no air came in the car which also defeats the purpose. When I took it off, the surface which the moonroof visor touched was scarred and is now permanent. Watch out for those moonroof visors! Same goes with mudguards.

Yeah, those things will scratch your paint. I had them on my Honda before and found out the hard way.

thanks

Thanks to all those who answered my question. I may seriously rethink getting the moonroof visor if it prevents any air from entering the car.
