Question about this Part.. There's an E-bay seller that is advertising 20+ HP with this Mod Chip. Is this real or bogus? Has anyone else tried this? Anyone know of any details about this air/fuel mod chip? Is it safe? Thanks!

sounds bogus, turbo cars maybe, but i don't think so on the tl

 

Its probably a bunch of crap. Most non-turbo cars with a new chip get like 4-5hp increase at most. Neuspeed makes them for non-turbo audi's and they can only squeeze small amts our power out.

 

This guy states in his auction its a chip but actually its a resistor with instructions where to put it. Supposedly increases Hp about 5 to 15% but I dont know what else it messes up in the process E.G. Mileage/Spark/Mixture etc. Find out how many ohms this resister is ang go get it at Radioshack for about 40 cents.

I haven't been able to talk to doug in a while, but it sounds just like he explained to me when he was doing testing. I was just like that and for less than $20. I don't think is him, but it might be the same or similar product. The only reason I don't think is him is because he only makes stuff for Honda's, not because is the only car he knows, but because he is a honda fanatic, but I might be wrong.

I might try it just to see what's up.
