Does anyone know if the regular TL wheels will fit the Type S - for winter wheels?

My dealer says "no" on the TL wheels that they don't have the proper clearance for the Type S brakes...recommended aftermarket steel wheels for snow tires...

Love to hear more from anyone else who has info to the contrary or other proven alternatives.

16" TL or CL wheels will fit on TL-S w/ absolutely no problems. 16" Accord V6 wheels will fit with no problems as well. I have the 2001 Accord Coupe V6 wheels on my TL-S for the winter. They are 16"x6.5" with +55 offset.

Agree with power-fade

TLS/CLS brakes are the same as TLP/CLP. No difference in rotor diameter, or caliper size.

I just won an EBay bid for a set of 00 TPL wheels and tires (dealer take offs.) These will work fine for your winter needs.

Update: They're on! I'll take some pics in the morning. They look sweet on my white car. Plus they're a hell of a lot smoother riding. I love'm.

It figures! I had it all cleaned up ready for fresh pics, and it rains (and I was stupid enough to get caught in it!!)

Oh well, it's going to clear up later today, I'll wash it again , and get some pics up for ya'll later.

Jim

PS - ordered Comptech sways today! Can't wait to join the "crew".
