Ran into a 330Ci at a lights today, I was actually behind him. I’m not sure if he really saw me but he bolted from the line with me still behind him. This was on a nice new road here in Vancouver that’s kind of a freeway with stop lights. We had a nice long strait away and only a truck in the other lane to worry about. He of course got a jump on me at first, considering the dynamics of starting behind him (therefore waiting for him to go first)... But I caught up pretty fast changed lanes and bolted. He had a small surge and gained a few feet but I slowly reeled him in at about 75ish and at that point he let of the gas and I passed him.

While the BMW has a stock advantage, let it be known that a good driver (I have lots of time at the track) can easily win, and know that a TLs with the "Proper" setup, much like the BMW's stock setup of performance lower, larger wider rims and Z tires on a TLs turn it into a much better "performance machine" then running the utterly horrible stock tires as performance goes.

Not bad for a big sedan that should not even be compared in the class of a smaller 330Ci.
