Please can anyone tell me what is the mini ground clearence on the 2001TL and what do you guys think the mini ground clearence will be on the TL-S? I have a very steep drive way and my 1988 Honda LXI bottoms out from the street down to my drive way. I hate to buy the TL-S and find out that I can't park on my driveway and in my garage without scraping the sht out of it. Thanks

 

My guess is that it will scrape... the nose of the TL is probably a little longer than your current ride's...

I have a 5" lifted Jeep Cherokee with 32" tires, and trimmed front bumper allowing an approach angle of 80 degrees if you're interested... heh. It's got a list of mods as long as James Joyce's "Ulysses" ans 12" of wheel travel at all 4 corners... It doesn't handle like a TL-S, though... here's a pic, when it was wearing 31" BFG's.



Yeah, that ledge is about 4 feet tall... gotta love rockcrawling! Ah, my little rock toy...
